MJP MBK Success Mentors Program

Picture
The MJP My Brother's Keeper Success Mentors Program was designed exclusively for MJP Scholars whom may benefit from having an in-school mentor, from Excel High J.R.O.T.C. program, who supports them through science & arts based activities and quality time. This mentoring program takes place during the school day and is supervised by MJP Staff Members.

Our Success Mentors will:
  • Facilitate one-to-one or small group science & arts based activities (30 minutes) weekly/bi-weekly with their Success Mentees.
  • Maintain a Student Success Contract in which Mentors & Mentees set up goals to achieve over a month time.
  • Provide feedback to MJP Staff on the progression of mentee sessions.
  • Motivate Success Mentees to come to School Everyday Ready to Learn.
